july twenty seventh

Well, there have been some new developments. I now know that I will be teaching primary school children in the town of Blois in France. The name of the school is EEPU Foch.

I wonder if it is allowed or advisable to swim in the Loire.

So, I have been living at home for the last six plus months saving up cash, not paying rent. I haven't been playing music or the drums since I have figured out that my tinnitus really does bother me alot. How would you deal with a constant oscillator sounding noise in your head that you can't ever turn off, realizing that you will probably never experience the sensation of 'quiet' ever again until you die.


I practice Buddhism. I sit zazen. Right now I am part of the Dae Do Sah group in Rockville and Adams Morgan.

So anyways, I leave for France on the sixteenth of September to look for a place to live. I start work on October 2nd. I am looking forward to this and think it may give me some feeling of accomplishment to teach children and live outside of the United States.
